Antonella Rappuoli’s farm covers 23 hectares where cereals are grown along
with olive trees and vines. It is situated within the Artistic and Natural Park
of the Val d’Orcia whose principle activity is the production of cereals
and extravirgin olive oil of the Val d’Orcia.
The excellent quality of this oil is recognised both on a national and international
level thanks to its I.G.P. (indicazione geografica protetta- a geographically
protected product). The extravirgin olive oil produced by the farm is cold pressed
with olives cultivated in the traditional way, the olive varieties Frantoio,
Leccino and Moraiolo are harvested totally by hand in November and December.
We offer our guests the possibility to take part in the following activities:
Beginning of October – the grape harvest
November-December – the olive harvest
July – the grain harvest
